Bushnell Prairie City played a home game on Friday, February 8, against Illini West and came away with a big 66-47 win.
Bushnell was led by Jack Pico, who put up 20 points with 2 3-pointers in this one. Additionally, they got a 16-point performance out of Will Hensley. Charlie Hensley chipped in another 10, and created a big-three performance that was just too tough for Illini West to match.
This is the time of year where high school teams would like to be playing their best ball, and it certainly looks as though Bushnell is doing so. Their next game comes today, February 11, in an away matchup with the West Prairie Cyclones, the school they co-op with for football. Tip-off for that game is scheduled for 7:30.
