Gladys Lucille Meek, 98, of Macomb, formerly of Roseville and McDonough County passed away at 10 p.m. Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Wesley Village Healthcare Center in Macomb.
She was born on October 22, 1919 in Good Hope to Rueben and Mabel Camp Young. She married Willard Wagoner in 1938. He passed away in 1965. She then married Wendell Meek in 1972. He passed away in 1987.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Janice Chance; one-daughter-in-law, Linda Wagoner; one great-granddaughter, Alana Chance and three brothers, Orville, Woodrow and Russell Young.
Gladys is survived by two sons, Jack (Georgeen) Wagoner of Havana and Jim Wagoner of Brimfield; one daughter, Jean (Sam) Gillett of Carthage; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She lived in McDonough County before moving to Roseville.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private family service will be held at a later date.
