Myriam Santos; Scott Robert RitchieEagles guitarist Joe Walsh will host his second annual VetsAid benefit concert, at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington, this Sunday, November 11, which is, appropriately, Veterans Day.

The show features a star-packed lineup that includes Walsh's famous brother-in-law, Ringo Starr, as well as his Eagles band mate Don Henley, James Taylor, popular country singer Chris Stapleton and sister pop-rock trio Haim.

Joe tells ABC Radio says he was inspired to launch the VetsAid charity because "there are so many vets that need help...starting about Korea, [then] Vietnam and now Afghanistan."

Walsh maintains that people in the U.S. perhaps forget about the war in Afghanistan, while noting that "kids are coming home shattered, and I'm trying to help."

Joe says he feels an affinity to veterans in need because his own stepfather fought in World War II.

"He never talked about it," says Walsh. "I realized later [it was] 'cause he was hurtin'."

VetsAid is a non-profit charity that supports various organizations that provide services to veterans and their families. The inaugural concert was held in September 2017 in Fairfax, Virginia, and raised nearly $400,000.

Tickets to this Sunday's show are still available. Visit VetsAid.org for more information.
