Betty A. Williams, 73, of Industry passed away at 8:50 p.m. Sunday, February 4, 2018 at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born on August 16, 1944 in Macomb to Joseph and Peggy Martin Schultz. She married Dean Williams on December 23, 1961. He passed away on October 22, 2012.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one brother in infancy and one brother, Roy Steven Schultz.
Betty is survived by one daughter, Penny Williams of Industry; three sons, Jeff Williams of Macomb, Greg (Kim) Williams of Colchester and Joe Williams of West Virginia; two grandchildren, Kyle Williams and Kelsey (Brent) Scheive; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Scott Schultz and one sister, Linda (Willie) McCoy of Sciota.
She lived most of her life in the Industry area. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. She was a former waitress at Bud and Marge’s in Industry for several years. Betty was an avid bowler bowling in many leagues and tournaments over the years.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend Willie McCoy officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Industry Cemetery.
