Illinois farmers are not happy with President Trump’s recent decision to limit agricultural trade opportunities with Cuba.
The Illinois Beef, Corn Growers, Pork Producers, and Soybean Growers Association issued a joint statement after Trump decision  to try to persuade the President to take a different approach. Illinois farmers say they want the freedom to sell food to people who need and use it, and that they believe having this opportunity helps benefit them as well as the Cuban economy. Illinois Farmers say they will remain supportive of the Illinois Cuba Working Group’s efforts and are thankful for Illinois General Assembly’s unanimous support.
