Two Bushnell residents have been arrested on Meth related charges. In a release from McDonough County Sheriff Rick Van Brooker it was announced that 30 year old Jeanna M. Masten and 33 Joshua I. Daniels, both of Bushnell had been arrested early Tuesday morning after Methamphetamine was recovered at the scene of a car accident the two were involved in. According to the Sheriff's Office release, Ms. Masten was driving when her vehicle struck a guardrail in the area of Highway 41 at County Road 2100N, not far from Prairie City. Once on the scene of the accident, Officers found both Masten and Daniels in possession of less than 5 grams of Methamphetamine. Each suspect was seen to have attempted to destroy evidence and obstruct officers from recovering the evidence. Both were arrested and taken to the McDonough County Jail.
