Former Western Illinois Football Wide Receiver Lance Lenoir Jr. has been invited to the Chicago Bears post-draft rookie minicamp. The Chicago native finished his senior season as WIU's all-time leader in: receptions (273), yards (3,796), touchdowns (28), 100-yard games (14), 200-yard games (2) and consecutive games with a catch (41).
"I was expecting to get drafted, but this is a great opportunity I have with the Chicago Bears. It's a great feeling, but I've got a lot to prove and I want to show what the other 31 teams missed out on," said Lenoir to GoLeathernecks.com.
Lenoir will attend the upcoming three-day minicamp in Lake Forest. Chicago will then have to decide whether to invite him to the team's training camp.
